π Managing Full Translation Jobs
Full translation jobs on AcudocX are different from template-based jobs.In a full translation, you work outside the AcudocX system to complete the translation and upload the final files for customer review and download.
This guide explains how to properly manage a full translation job β including important communication expectations under your contractor agreement.
π Step 1: Accept and Confirm the Job
New jobs appear under your Pending Jobs list or arrive via email notification.
Click View Job, review the details, and click Start Job to formally accept the assignment.
π’ Important:After clicking Start, you must send a message to the customer confirming you are working on the job.
In your message, include:
An estimated date for when they can expect to review the draft translation, or
An estimated date for final job completion.
This is a required step under the Contractor Terms and Conditions.
π₯ Step 2: Download the Customerβs Source Documents
Download all customer-uploaded files.
Ensure documents are:
Clear
Legible
Correct and match the requested language/service.
If thereβs an issue, use Customer Action Required β Bad Source Document to request a better copy.
βοΈ Step 3: Translate the Document
Complete the translation externally (using Word, PDF, or your preferred tools).
If certification is required:
Add your certification stamp and signature manually before uploading.
Maintain professional formatting throughout.
π’ If the customer uploaded multiple documents as one file, you must upload your translation as one combined file.
π€ Step 4: Upload the Completed Translation
Upload your finished, certified translation.
Reminder: Uploading a new file replaces previous uploads. Always double-check the file before final upload.
π Step 5: Complete the Job

If everything looks correct, press Complete Job to finalise and deliver the translation.
