When you create a provider or agency account with AcudocX, setting up Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is mandatory.2FA helps protect your account, your certification credentials, and your customers' sensitive documents.
If you don't have a two-factor authentication app yet, don't worry — it's easy to get started.
Here’s what you need to know.
📱 Why Do I Need a Two-Factor Authentication App?
2FA adds an extra layer of security beyond just a password.
It protects your digital signature, your translations, and your customers’ confidential information.
Without 2FA, you will not be able to activate or log into your AcudocX account.
🛠 What Should I Do If I Don't Have an Authenticator App?
You need to download and install a trusted Authenticator App onto your mobile device.
Here are a few free options that work well:
Google Authenticator (Recommended)
Microsoft Authenticator
Authy
Duo Mobile
✅ These apps are free to download and available from:
The App Store (for iPhone/iPad users)
The Google Play Store (for Android users)
📋 How to Set It Up
Install an authenticator app on your mobile phone.
Go back to your AcudocX login or account setup screen.
Open the authenticator app and select Add Account or Scan QR Code.
Use the app to scan the QR code displayed on AcudocX.
The app will start generating 6-digit codes.
Enter the current 6-digit code shown in the app to log in.
✅ After setup, every time you log into AcudocX, you’ll need your app to generate a temporary 6-digit login code.
🚩 Important Reminders
Always keep your mobile device secure — it controls your 2FA access.
Backup codes may also be provided during setup — save them somewhere safe in case you lose access to your device.
You must complete 2FA setup before you can work on any translation jobs.
